Back to school, oh joy

Ok, so I pretty much suck at keeping a blog ha ha. But life is picking up the pace again now that school has started. I'm taking 15 credits this semester and boy I'm feeling it already!
On a happy note, I had a job interview today for a medical receptionist at a physical therapy clinic. I won't know until next week if I got the job, so that kinda sucks. But it would be so nice if I could get this job! Weekends off, better environment, less stress and best of all it would help me gain the experience I need to work toward my degree!
Also, this past weekend was Peach Days and Brennon and I went up to visit. We had a lot of fun. (He spent most of it watching college football games after the parade while I hung out with my mom.) And of course the fabulous peach cobbler I love so much!

Our new toy :)

Ok, so I finally took some pictures and this is our new sexy baby :) It's an '06 Chevy Malibu SS. The pictures aren't the best since I took them in our underground parking area...

Good laughs :)

I got these e-mail forwards from Brennon's grandma, and I just had to laugh. So I decided to put them on here to share!

FORGET REDNECKS; THIS IS WHAT JEFF FOXWORTHY HAD TO SAY ABOUT UTAHNS!

If your local Dairy Queen is closed from September to May, you live in
Utah .

If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they don't
work there, you live in Utah.

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you live in Utah

If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed
the wrong number, you live in Utah.

If 'vacation' means going anywhere south of Salt Lake City for the
weekend, you live in Utah.

If you measure distance in hours, you live in Utah.

If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you live
in Utah.

If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C' and back again in the same
day, you live in Utah.

If you install security lights on your house and garage but leave both
unlocked, you live in Utah.

If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard
without flinching, you live in Utah.

If you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you
live in Utah.

If the speed limit on the highway is 75 mph -- you're going 80, and
everyone is still passing you, you live in Utah.

If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with
snow, you live in Utah.

If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road
construction, you live in Utah.

If you find 10 degrees 'a little chilly' you live in Utah.

If you actually understand these jokes you live in Utah.

Funny enough, I agree with a lot of these, ha ha ha!

Final grades, spring cleaning, the gist...

So I finally got my final grades yesterday, and guess what. By some miracle or mistake I pulled an "A" out of my anatomy class! And by no means am I going to argue with that, ha ha! I honestly don't know how I did it but I am soooo relieved. Other than that, I got one other "A", a "B" and a "B+". Which compared to my grades last semester, I have to say I am very proud of myself. Brennon did pretty good too. So we're just happy the semester is over. Now we moved onto cleaning our apartment so we can sell our contract. We've found an awesome 2 bedroom apartment in Springville that's in a much quieter location and... I get my own washer and dryer!! No more coin laundry!! Oh and as far as our new toy, it's a 2006 Chevy Malibu SS :D We love it, I just need to take pictures still. Mostly, we're just keeping busy between working and trying to get this place cleaned up. Ciao for now!

Almost done...

Well this semester is almost over thank goodness! I'm so ready to be done with it. My anatomy class totally kicked my trash, ha ha! Brennon and I need a good summer vacation. I'm kind of bummed though, we were planning on going to California for a week in May, but thanks to all our tax money going to car repairs and stuff, we'll be lucky if we can go on any kind of vacation. :P But hopefully we can save enough by next year to go on a cruise... Maybe. I don't know if I'm excited for fall semester or not. I'm upping my classes to 15 credits from now on because I have to if I want to graduate in two years. It just feels like it's taking forever sometimes! For those of you who don't know, I changed my major to Community Health and I will be going into Health Care Administration. That is if it's still around after Obama's little schpeel... I guess we'll see where I end up, lol. Other than finals, we don't have a lot going on... We did buy a new surprise but I have to take some pics before I can post anything about it! It's way sweet, that's all I can say ;) Laterz!

Lets try this out :)

Hey everyone! Welcome to life with the Larsens. Blogging is the new thing and I don't really keep a journal so maybe this can be my medium, ha ha. We'll see how it goes. I have lots of homework thanks to finals week coming up so I will have to update more later!
